Suthers also filed an objectionn separately, citing a new Colorado law prohibiting auto manufacturer from threatening to cancel or not renew existinb dealership agreements if a dealershi does not agree with the Sutherssaid he’s also concerned that the sale ordeer GM seeks in its bankruptcy case coulds undercut the state’s regulation of manufacturer-dealer relationships and upset the playing fiels in the industry.
